Jenna Dewan wraps her arm around hubby Channing Tatum at the 71st Annual Peabody Awards on Monday (May 21) in New York City.

The 31-year-old actress (in Armani) and Channing, 32, won a Peabody for their work executive producing Earth Made of Glass, a documentary about the 1994 genocide in Rwanda.

“It’s nice to be recognized for a project that we feel we’re really proud of,” Jenna told E! “I think it has a great message, and it’s nice just to get that awareness out.”

Also winning an award was the cast of Parks & Recreation. In attendance from the NBC comedy were Amy Poehler (in a rag & bone suit and Ash shoes), Aziz Ansari, Adam Scott, Retta, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza and Jim O’Heir.

Also pictured inside: Anderson Cooper, who picked up a Peabody at the ceremony.

A new trailer was recently released for Channing‘s upcoming movie Magic Mike. The comedy features Matt Bomer and Alex Pettyfer and hits theaters June 29!

Channing Tatum shows off his best stripper moves in the U.K. trailer for Magic Mike.

The new clip also features a shirtless Alex Pettyfer on stage, along with Matthew McConaughey and Cody Horn.

The movie, hitting theaters June 29, is loosely inspired by Channing‘s own experience stripping at the age of 19.

“I was definitely looking for something to take me into the dark side,” Channing told Out‘s June/July issue, which he covers. “You learn something about yourself, you learn about men, women, you see a lot of depressing sh–, people that are lost. But at the same time, the dark side can be exciting. It can feel like you’re cheating death every night.”

Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello, and Matt Bomer are shirtless sexy in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, on stands now.

The co-stars are promoting their new stripper flick Magic Mike. Matthew McConaughey and Cody Horn are also featured in the mag spread (see below).

“This movie isn’t about my life,” Channing shares. “[The plot] has nothing to do with me other than that there’s an 18, 19-year-old kid coming into this world. That’s it. [But] I think the world is pretty damn accurate. Everything you see in the movie is stuff that I saw.”

Channing Tatum takes the cover of Out‘s June/July issue.

Here’s what the 32-year-old actor had to share with the mag:

On his stripper movie, Magic Mike: “It’s risky. People say that women and the gay community will go see it – knock on wood – but I know straight guys won’t be like, ‘Yo, what’s up man – you wanna go see the stripping movie after the game tonight?’ I doubt they’ll have the balls to see it. What’s funny is that the girls don’t ask me questions about my stripping days, but straight guys want to know everything. It’s that fantasy element. It’s probably why a lot of females on Halloween are the whorey version of a ketchup bottle, or slutty nurse, which I love and respect – it’s liberating.”

On baring almost all: “I never enjoyed the taking-the-clothes-off part. You are on a stage with people yelling at you, and you feel you’re a rock star, but you’re nothing – you’re just a guy taking off his clothes, looking like a fool in a stupid outfit.”

On his career: “I’ve been acting for eight years now, and I feel I’m just starting to understand things. As soon as you think you’re the sh–, you’ll find 100 people that will point at you and laugh. I don’t ever want to be that person – I want to keep finding people I can learn from. That’s my entire journey in life.”

The heartthrobs, who all star in the upcoming film, Magic Mike, got back together for this fun promotional shoot.

In the issue, Matthew dishes about the movie.

On his big striptease in the film: “Oh, it leaves something to the imagination. It wasn’t in the script, but Soderbergh said in the beginning that if it felt right, I could strip at the end of the movie. I said, ‘I gotta dance, man.’ I would regret it for the rest of my life if I was in a male stripper movie and didn’t get up there and strip myself.”

On the hottest Magic Mike stripper: “Dallas, of course. [Laughs] Everybody was pretty damn ripped already, but boy, if you really want to get men in great shape, just tell them they’re going to play male strippers in a movie and have their shit onscreen for the rest of time. Vanity, baby.”

On striptease rehearsals: “I found the song I wanted, we got it cleared very early, and I started working on the choreography from the very beginning. I was working two, three nights a week to get that down. It was a ball.”

Magic Mike hits theaters nationwide on June 29!

Channing Tatum may be headed to the White House…for his next movie role, that is!

The 32-year-old actor is in talks to star in the film White House Down, a movie “described as Die Hard in the White House [which] follows a secret service agent who must save the president,” Variety reports.

The script is being written by James Vanderbilt, who also penned this summer’s The Amazing Spider-Man. Roland Emmerich is attached to direct.
