Meghan Trainor Will Replace Jennifer Hudson on 'The Voice UK'

Meghan Trainor is replacing Jennifer Hudson as a coach on The Voice UK.

The 25-year-old “NO” singer – who was a judge on Fox’s The Four – will take the place of the 38-year-old “I Still Love You” crooner on the British competition series.

Meghan said (via Deadline), “I am so excited and honored to join Sir Tom, and Olly Murs as the new Coach on The Voice UK. It’s a dream come true and I can’t wait to sit in the chair with my own button and listen to some incredible new talent.”

Emma Willis will return to present. Filming begins in October, and the series will hit ITV in the New Year.

Jennifer revealed that she left the show due to “filming commitments.” She will star in the film adaptation of Cats, and she is and filming for the Aretha Franklin biopic Respect.

Meghan Trainor is such an exciting addition to The Voice UK,” added Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment, ITV. “She has blown us away with her energy and enthusiasm and, although our youngest coach, an impressive career in music set to inspire all who join Team Meghan. She has been a tremendous Coach, loved by viewers and the singers she has worked with during her time on the show.”

Taraji P. Henson Celebrates Her Birthday With '80s Themed Roller Skating Bash!

Taraji P. Henson threw the ultimate 80s bash for her birthday!

The 49-year-old actress teamed up with Guillotine Vodka to host a roller skating party over the weekend in in Chicago, Ill.

She was joined by fiance Kelvin Hayden as well as tons of friends including Jennifer Hudson and Mary J. Blidge.

“SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! I am still floating!!! Thank you to EVERYONE who came out to help me celebrate my birthday. I pray y’all had as much fun as I did!! #MyShinsHurt 😩😂😂😂🙏🏾💋💋💋,” Taraji wrote on her Instagram after the party.

The following morning, the group headed to Katana Chicago to continue the party with a birthday brunch.

'Cats' Movie Cast - See Side-By-Side Photos of Actors & Cats!

We finally have been given our first look at the Cats movie and now we know what the actors will look like as cats!

Ever since a film version of the classic Broadway musical was announced, fans have been wondering how director Tom Hooper would portray the cats on screen.

“We’ve used digital fur technology to create the most perfect covering of fur,” Tom has said.

Taylor Swift, James Corden, Idris Elba, and Jennifer Hudson lead the star-studded cast of actors and singers who are bringing the musical to life on the big screen.

Tom‘s pairing them with a level of technology which I don’t think has ever been used before,” James said. “These are people, but they’re cats, and this is kinda of blowing my mind. There is nothing else like it.

'Cats' Movie Trailer - Watch Jennifer Hudson Sing 'Memory'

The first official trailer for the film adaptation of the classic musical Cats has arrived!

The Andrew Lloyd Webber musical is getting a live-action film from director Tom Hooper and the star-studded cast includes Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Swift, Judi Dench, Idris Elba, James Corden, Ian McKellen, Rebel Wilson, Jason Derulo, and more.

Royal Ballet principal dancer Francesca Hayward is making her feature film debut.

Jennifer belts out the classic song “Memory” in the trailer, which gives us our first look at what the cast will look like as cats. The film reimagines the musical for a new generation with spectacular production design, state-of-the-art technology, and dance styles ranging from ballet to contemporary, hip-hop to jazz, street to tap.

Cats hits theaters on December 20.

Idris Elba, Taylor Swift & More Show Off Inside Look at 'Cats' In New Featurette

Taylor Swift dances around with Idris Elba in this first look featurette from Cats.

The full cast – including James Corden, Judi Dench, Jason Derulo, Jennifer Hudson, Ian McKellen, Rebel Wilson, and dancer Francesca Hayward – opened up about the movie adaption of the famed Andrew Lloyd Webber musical.

The featurette also focuses in on the amazing production design, and the use of state-of-the-art technology to help tell the story.

The first trailer for Cats will premiere this week and the movie is set to hit theaters in December.
