Jennifer Hudson sings her heart out while on stage at the Boys & Girls Harbor 2015 Salute to Achievement Benefit held at The Plaza on Wednesday (May 6) in New York City.
The 33-year-old entertainer performed “Angel,” “Hallelujah,” and improvised duets with the students of The Harbor at the event honoring CEO of The Howard Hughes Corporation, David R. Weinreb.
Vanessa Williams was also in attendance to sing her Academy Award-winning song “Colors of the Wind” and surprised the crowd by inviting David to join her for a jazzy duet of “On A Clear Day.”
Boys & Girls Harbor is dedicated to providing all of its 1,000 students, starting as young as 18 months old through high school, comprehensive academic training while simultaneously nurturing each child’s creativity – based in East Harlem.
