A couple has shared an eerie video of the moment they learned that Matthew Perry had passed away.

The Life with Leo vloggers shared the video on their TikTok account and the timing of what happened truly is pretty crazy.

While watching an episode of Friends, the couple chatted about Matthew‘s career and wondered what he had been doing since the show ended. They went to Google the info and discovered that the news of Matthew‘s death had been shared just minutes earlier.

John Stamos is remembering Matthew Perry.

The 60-year-old Full House actor spoke out on Instagram about the beloved Friends star, who tragically passed away over the weekend at 54.

“Matthew and I had been friendly long before Friends,” he began.

“So, when I guest stared as Zach, the prospective sperm donor for Chandler and Monica, I hung with him a lot. Standing backstage, ready to make my entrance, Matt whispers, ‘The audience is going go crazy when they see you! Get ready for some loud screams.’”

“I walk through the door… silence. I was so embarrassed. We finish the scene and as I start to slither back to my dressing room and quit showbiz, Matt walks over to the studio audience: ‘Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for John Stamos! You guys probably didn’t recognize him at first because he’s so much better looking in person!’” he continued.

“I never forgot that and the world will never forget you. #ripmathewperry.”

The co-stars of Friends also issued a joint statement.

Friends fans in New York City are paying tribute to Matthew Perry outside of the iconic apartment building featured on the show.

If you don’t know, the building is located at 90 Bedford Street in the Greenwich Village section of New York City and is often featured in stock video footage that aired during episodes.

After the tragic and sudden death of Matthew, who portrayed Chandler Bing on the show, fans flocked to the building to leave notes, flowers, and more.

One note, written on cardboard, read, “Friends was the answer & solution for my anxiety before I even had a word for that feeling. All I knew is that whenever I had big feelings, I could pop in a VHS box set (IYKYK) of a given season in the VCR and not just feel okay, but even laugh. As reliable as a true friend, 20 years later Friends is still my comfort show. Thank you Matty for making me feel peace and joy from middle school to my mid 30s.”
