‘9-1-1’ Actor Oliver Stark on His Eye Birthmark: It’s Not Herpes!

If you’re watching Fox’s new hit drama series 9-1-1, you might be wondering what happened to hunky actor Oliver Stark‘s eye.

The 26-year-old British actor has a birthmark above his left eye and he spoke out about it a couple years ago in response to questions on Twitter.

“I have 1 burning question before I stop being a twitter pest: is your eye hurt or is that part of costume? I’ve been wondering,” a fan asked. Oliver responded, “Birth mark! I most enjoyed the tweet today that asked if I had ‘eye herpes’… :)).”

Another fan tweeted to Oliver saying that he also has a birthmark under his eye and “grew up getting asked if someone hit me.”

Oliver responded, “EVERYDAY I GET ASKED!”

You can catch new episodes of 9-1-1 on Wednesday nights at 9/8c on Fox.

'Modern Family' Likely to End After Next Season

It looks like the end of Modern Family is near.

Co-creators Steve Levitan and Christopher Lloyd shared in a recent interview that they “can’t imagine” the series continuing after season 10.

“Our plan is to end it at 10,” Steve told THR. “If we can leave with most of our audience wanting more, I think that’s the right way to do it.”

As of now, no final decision has been set in stone, but Steve says that there are no plans for them to continue after that.

Modern Family – which is currently in the middle of season nine – will be celebrating their 200th episode this week.

Modern Family first aired on ABC back in September 2009 and has been the network’s longest-running comedy.

'Walking Dead' Renewed for Season 9, New Showrunner Announced

The Walking Dead is officially coming back for a ninth season on AMC and a new showrunner has been announced.

Scott M. Gimple, the show’s showrunner from season four through eight, will now serve as the chief content officer of the franchise. Angela Kang has been promoted from executive producer to showrunner.

“This is an enormously important day for the entire The Walking Dead television universe. We are proud to acknowledge Angela’s significant contribution to the series and to set a clear path forward for a ninth season under her direction. Further, with gratitude and admiration, we also recognize Scott’s broad impact on, and leadership of, the content that fuels our TWD universe. Together, we will dream bigger and more broadly than ever before,” said Charlie Collier, president of AMC, SundanceTV and AMC Studios (via THR). “I know I speak for Angela, Scott and everyone at AMC when I say thanks most of all to the fans and the many talented people who have helped AMC play Dead.”

Angela has been working on The Walking Dead since 2011 and has written about 20 episodes of the series. The show will return in late 2018.

Kristin Chenoweth to Reunite with Allison Janney on 'Mom'

Kristin Chenoweth is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of the CBS comedy series Mom!

The Emmy and Tony-winning actress will play “a spiritual advisor to Jaime Pressly‘s Jill. It’s not a healthy relationship; it’s a bit of a con. But she plays something of a guru.”

The characters meet at a weight loss retreat and end up returning home and frustrate Christy (Anna Faris), Bonnie (Allison Janney) and Marjorie (Mimi Kennedy), according to TV Insider.

This will mark a reunion for Kristin and Allison, who worked together on seasons six and seven of The West Wing.

FX Responds to Versace Family's Thoughts on 'American Crime Story' Series

FX has released a statement in response to the Versace family’s criticism of the network’s upcoming Ryan Murphy series, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.

The family behind the fashion house said that the show was made without its blessing and fans should consider it to be a “work of fiction.”

FX stands behind the series and the source material the producers used to create it.

“Like the original American Crime Story series The People vs. OJ Simpson, which was based on Jeffrey Toobin‘s nonfiction bestseller ‘The Run of His Life,’” the network said in its statement (via THR), “FX’s follow-up The Assassination Of Gianni Versace is based on Maureen Orth‘s heavily researched and authenticated nonfiction best-seller ‘Vulgar Favors,’ which examined the true life crime spree of Andrew Cunanan. We stand by the meticulous reporting of Ms. Orth.”

Versace – starring Edgar Ramirez, Penelope Cruz, Darren Criss, and Ricky Martin – premieres on FX on January 17.
