Jeremy Irvine & Brian J. Smith to Star in 'Bourne' Spinoff Series!

Jeremy Irvine and Brian J. Smith will be starring in the upcoming television series Treadstone, which is a spinoff of the Jason Bourne franchise.

Treadstone has already been given a straight-to-series order from USA Network and production will begin in 2019.

THR reports that the series will explore the “origin story and present-day actions of the covert program that uses behavior modification protocol to turn recruits into nearly superhuman assassins. The first season will follow sleeper agents across the globe as they’re mysteriously ‘awakened’ to resume their deadly missions.”

Jeremy, best known for War Horse and Mamma Mia 2, will play “J. Randolph Bentley, a spy dispatched by the CIA to eliminate a key target but who ends up embroiled in an international conspiracy.”

Brian, who starred in the Netflix series Sense8, will take on the role of “Doug McKenna, an all-American oil-rig worker whose life changes after he discovers long-buried truths about himself.”

We can’t wait to see the new show!

Max Greenfield & Patton Oswalt Join 'Veronica Mars' Revival!

Veronica Mars is coming back to television for an eight-episode revival series on Hulu and the cast keeps growing!

Kristen Bell will of course be back as the title character alongside most of the original cast and now Max Greenfield and Patton Oswalt have been added to the cast.

Max will be reprising his role as Leo D’Amato, who he played in 11 episodes of the original run of the show and the 2014 movie.

Patton will be playing “Penn Epner, who’s on the wrong side of 40 to be as proud of his title as the ‘best pizza-delivery guy in Neptune’ as he is. But he won’t shut up about it — or anything else. A true-crime devotee and frequent poster on unsolved-murder websites, Penn is affable, a little hapless and milking his 15 minutes for all its worth,” according to THR.

No premiere date has been announced for the Veronica Mars revival series, but you can watch all previous episodes and the movie on Hulu starting in summer 2019.
