Colin Farrell, Kirby & Amy Ryan Promote New Series 'Sugar' at FYC Event in Los Angeles

Colin Farrell is sandwiched between his Sugar leading ladies while attending the Apple TV+ series’ FYC event at Linwood Dunn Theater on Sunday (April 28) in Los Angeles.

The 47-year-old actor, who stars as the titular character and serves as an executive producer, was joined by Kirby and Amy Ryan, who star alongside him in the show.

In the show, Colin plays John Sugar, an American private investigator on the heels of the mysterious disappearance of Olivia Siegel, the beloved granddaughter of legendary Hollywood producer Jonathan Siegel. As Sugar tries to determine what happened to Olivia, he will also unearth Siegel family secrets; some very recent, others long-buried.

The first five episodes are out now on Apple TV+ with the remaining episodes premiering on Fridays through May 17th.

Survivor host and executive producer Jeff Probst is already preparing for the hit show’s 50th season!

The CBS competition series is currently airing it’s 46th season, but the 62-year-old host just shared some big, exciting news for the future milestone season.

“About 10 seconds ago, we just decided — thanks to all the fans that were in attendance at the ‘FYC’ event here in Hollywood — that Survivor 50 will be returning players,” he revealed in a video posted to Instagram. Check it out below!

Survivor is no stranger to bringing players back.

Back in season eight, the show had it’s first All Stars season, with returning players in seasons 11, 16 and 20. Season 40 also saw past winners back for another competition.

Since then, there hasn’t been anyone returning, other than Bruce Perrault, who came back in season 45 after he had to leave 44 due to an injury.

Millie Gibson is not going anywhere on Doctor Who!

The 19-year-old actress was reported to being replaced in the 15th season of the hit BBC series, and will only be in the upcoming 14th season as the Doctor’s companion Ruby Sunday.

In a recent interview, Millie opened up about her time on the show and confirmed that she will in fact be in the next two seasons.

“Russell’s given me the gift of a really beautiful story arc, not only in season 1 but in season 2 also,” Millie shared with EW. “Her family definitely structures her beliefs and her positivity. I think because I’m playing my age as well, it was so easy to express that sort of giddiness and young energy that Doctor Who’s not seen before.”

It was previously reported that Millie was being replaced in the second season of Ncuti Gatwa‘s Doctor, and Varada Sethu was taking her place.

However, Varada will actually just be joining Millie and Ncuti in the second season (aka season 15)!

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright both hit the red carpet at the 2024 White House Correspondents Dinner held at The Washington Hilton on Saturday night (April 27) in Washington, DC.

While the estranged couple and stars of Bravo’s The Valley walked the carpet separately, they did sit together while inside the event.

Brittany shared a video from the dinner on her Instagram, showing off the atmosphere and Jax was seen standing next to her, plus, she showed her table setting with Jax‘s name card next to hers.

Jax and Brittany announced their separation earlier this year and they are still living apart. Earlier this month, Brittany revealed what the fight was about that ultimately led to her leaving.

“The truth is that we have just been fighting and not on the same page for a while now and it was just becoming a negative space in our own house,” she told E! News in March. “I just don’t want that for our son. I don’t want him growing up thinking it’s normal to live like that.”

Adele snacks on popcorn while sitting courtside at the Denver Nuggets Vs Los Angeles Lakers basketball game held at Crypto.com Arena on Saturday night (April 27) in Los Angeles.

The 35-year-old singer joined her sports agent beau Rich Paul at the game, which is part of the first rounds playoffs.

If you didn’t know, Rich‘s Klutch Sports Group represents several players on both the Nuggets and the Lakers, including Denver’s Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Aaron Gordon, and LA’s LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Also seen sitting courtside at the playoffs game were Leonardo DiCaprio, who was seen taking a phone call at one point, Amy Adams and Corey Gamble.

The Lakers defeated the Nuggets, 119-108, in the fourth game of the series. The Nuggets are currently leading the Lakers in the series, 3-1, with three more games set for this week.

Earlier this month, Adele announced the final dates of her Las Vegas residency, Weekends with Adele, which are rescheduled from her March postponement.
