Christa‘s Revenge co-stars, Emily VanCamp with her real-life beau Joshua Bowman, came out to support their drama, which airs its finale this Wednesday (May 23) on ABC.

“It’s so intense [that] even reading it was just mind blowing,” Emily told Access Hollywood. “It’s not one cliffhanger, it’s not two cliffhangers, it’s like five cliffhangers. I don’t know how they fit [in] that much, to be honest.”

Kerry Washington‘s drama Scandal has been renewed for a second season by ABC. We’re so excited!

Shonda Rhimes, the show’s creator, tweeted, “Am super proud to say that @ScandalABC has been picked for a 2nd season!!! Am doing a little dance of joy.”

Revenge, Modern Family, Private Practice, Body of Proof, Apartment 23, and Once Upon A Time have also been renewed for additional seasons.

Kristin Chenoweth‘s comedy GCB didn’t make the cut, and Courteney Cox‘s Cougar Town will be moving to TBS.

ABC is picking up several new shows, according to THR. Their new lineup includes Nashville, a family drama that follows the careers of two country music stars, played by Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere.

Paula Patton and Kerry Washington are white hot at the 2012 Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday (February 23) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Kerry, 35, who is Essence‘s March cover girl, and Paula, 36, were both honored at the event, which highlights stars “who, through their work, have helped illuminate positive images of Black women worldwide.”

Oscar nominee Octavia Spencer, Pam Grier, and Grey’s Anatomy creator and executive producer Shonda Rhimes were also this year’s honorees at the luncheon.

Kerry Washington looks drop dead gorgeous in Rubin Chappelle on the cover of Essence magazine’s March 2012 issue.

The 35-year-old actress dished, “I think it’s a really special time to be a woman of color in this business. The landscape of who has the power is changing.”

“We are in more influential positions and are able to have a say in the stories that are told. I feel very lucky to be in the business now,” Kerry added.
