Cynthia Erivo Celebrates Her Birthday at 'Choir Boy' Opening

Cynthia Erivo is all smiles while arriving for the opening night performance of the new Broadway play Choir Boy on Tuesday (January 8) at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre in New York City.

The 32-year-old Widows actress celebrated her birthday that day and it seems she had a great time at the show!

Also attending the performance were Debra Messing and Cynthia‘s former The Color Purple co-star Danielle Brooks.

More celebs there included married couple Leslie Odom Jr. and Nicolette Robinson, Empire‘s Jussie Smollett, Elementary‘s Jonny Lee Miller, and mother-daughter duo Phylicia and Condola Rashad.

Danielle Brooks Is Trying to Find the Fan She Took a Selfie With!

Danielle Brooks, well known for her work as Taystee on Netflix’s Orange is the New Black, has a message for a fan she took a photo with on public transportation.

The 29-year-old actress posted the selfie and wrote the following message: “To the girl I met on the train light years ago and I promised I would get this picture to you [because] your phone died. I’m sorry it took me so long, but I hope it’s not too late!”

She then added, “Tag her if you know her. Happy holidays.”

'Orange Is the New Black' Cast Supports Jane Fonda at Women's Media Awards

Taylor was joined at the event by her Orange Is the New Black co-stars Uzo Aduba, Natasha Lyonne, Laura Prepon, Danielle Brooks, and Selenis Leyva. The ladies are currently shooting the Netflix show’s final season.

Jane co-founded the the Women’s Media Center with Gloria Steinem and Robin Morgan, who she joined at the event.

Also in attendance was Diane Lane.

Tiffany Haddish Strikes a Pose at 'Nobody's Fool' Premiere in New York City

Tiffany Haddish is looking chic on the red carpet for the premiere of her new movie Nobody’s Fool on Sunday (October 28) at the AMC Lincoln Square in New York City.

Co-stars Tika Sumpter, Omari Hardwick, Mehcad Brooks, Amber Riley and Whoopi Goldberg also hit the red carpet.

Gayle King, 50 Cent, Michael K. Williams, Sara Haines, Corbin Bensen, Max Joseph, Eric West, Danielle Brooks, Nev Shulman, June Ambrose, Sophie Sumner and Amber Ruffin were all in attendance at the event.

In the movie, wild child Tanya (Haddish) looks to her buttoned-up, by the book sister Danica (Sumpter) to help her get back on track. As these polar opposites collide — with hilarious and sometimes disastrous results — Tanya discovers that Danica’s picture-perfect life — including her mysterious boyfriend — may not be what it seems.

The Tyler Perry-directed movie hits theaters on Friday (November 2).

'Orange Is The New Black' to End With Season 7 - Watch the Announcement

Orange Is The New Black is officially coming to an end.

The Netflix series will conclude with its seventh season, which will debut in 2019, the company announced on Wednesday (October 17).

“After seven seasons, it’s time to be released from prison. I will miss all the badass ladies of Litchfield and the incredible crew we’ve worked with. My heart is orange but fade to black,” said creator Jenji Kohan.

The announcement was paired with an emotional video message from the cast of Orange Is The New Black.

“Warning: This may make you cry. The Final Season, 2019. #OITNB,” the show tweeted.
