The six-year-old future King, and his four-year-old royal sister, both headed to school on Thursday (September 5) at Thomas’s Battersea in London, England.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a photograph of Prince George and Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace this morning,” Kensington Palace’s Instagram captioned the photo on Instagram. “The photo was taken shortly before Their Royal Highnesses left for Thomas’s Battersea.”

Princess Charlotte Arrives for First Day of School with Prince George (Accompanied By Parents Kate Middleton & Prince William!)

Princess Charlotte, 4, arrives for her first day of school at Thomas’s Battersea with her older brother Prince George, 6, and parents Duchess Kate Middleton and Prince William on Thursday (September 5) in London, England.

The two young royals were clad in their school uniforms as they walked to school with the royal couple.

This is an important day for Duchess Kate as well, as she had to miss Prince George‘s first official day of school when she was pregnant and suffering from severe morning sickness. So today is a first for the Duchess as well!

FYI: Duchess Kate is wearing a Michael Kors floral printed dress (the same she wore to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s rehearsal dinner!)

Will Princess Charlotte Go By Her Royal Title at School?

Princess Charlotte is due to start school at Thomas’s Battersea, the same school as her older brother Prince George, on Thursday (September 5) in London, England.

According to People, there will be no royal titles used when teachers and classmates address her, rather, she will just go by “Charlotte.” Prince George reportedly goes by “George Cambridge” at the school, a nod to his parents’ status as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. It’s theorized that the Princess will likely go by “Charlotte Cambridge” as well.

Passenger Reacts to Prince William, Kate Middleton & Their Three Kids Flying Commercial Airline

Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton, along with their kids Prince George, 6, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 16 months, flew from Norwich, England to Aberdeen, Scotland on a FlyBe partner aircraft on Thursday (August 22).

Passengers on the flight did not realize that the royals were on board as they boarded separately.

“Earlier in the flight, I’d had the feeling that someone had come on the plane that I’d recognised – but I thought it was just a footballer. We landed, and people then saw two black Range Rovers on the tarmac. Suddenly, Will, Kate, and the kids all got up, and left. They weren’t harassed by anyone at all as they got off the plane. They just seemed like a family travelling together to be honest,” a passenger told The Sun. “No one saw them get on the plane either. It was amazing how they did it – they must have slipped on quietly, after people were already seated. I couldn’t believe my eyes. You don’t expect to see royalty on a budget airliner.”

“We were delighted to welcome the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their family on board one of our flights again, this time when they flew from Norwich to Aberdeen with our franchise partner Eastern Airways,” a FlyBe rep said in a statement to E! News.

This news comes just a few days after Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle received backlash for flying private on their vacation.
