Kelly Ripa & Ryan Seacrest Return To Studio For 'Live!' Filming After 180 Days Apart

Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest are back in business on the set of Live! in New York City.

The two co-hosts for the talk show were back in the studio today (September 8) to kick off filming for the new season, and were spaced way more than 6 feet apart.

“Back in studio with new seating charts,” Ryan shared on Instagram with the new arrangement. “Shout-out to everyone working behind-the-scenes to keep us safe and healthy. See you again tomorrow!”

Ryan and Kelly now have separate desks and are seating at the edge of each of them in compliance with filming rules as the pandemic continues.

Kelly also posted a funny pic from the set, with her and Ryan in full hazmat suits.

“Guess who’s back in the studio today?” she asked.

Kelly and Ryan have been remotely filming the show from their own home spaces throughout the summer, and featured special guests along the way.

There were also many times that fans brought up issues about the format, more specifically about Kelly‘s appearance, and their personal grooming choices.

Kelly Ripa Says She'd be 'Sitting Here Naked' If She Had Daughter Lola Consuelos' Figure

Kelly Ripa is praising daughter Lola Consuelos‘ confidence!

The 49-year-old talk show host and her 19-year-old daughter sat down in the woods for an interview on PeopleTV where they talked about borrowing clothes from each other.

During their chat, Lola admitted that she used to steal a few of her mom’s crop tops because she “wanted something that showed off my figure.”

“If I had your figure, I’d be showing it off too,” Kelly responded. “I’d be sitting her naked. I’d be sitting here, no clothes on, in the woods.”

Kelly then went on to praise Lola‘s fashion sense, and how she wears “everything with confidence.”

“The one item of clothing that I would wear from my daughter’s closet is every article of clothing she owns,” Kelly shared. “If I could pull off your clothes, I would in a heartbeat. You’ve got the chicest sense of style and you wear everything with confidence.”

Kelly went on to joke that she sometimes she wishes Lola would dress more conservatively, but ultimately still admires her sense of style.

“Sometimes I think to myself, ‘Gee, I wish she would put a sweater on. She looks cold,’” Kelly added. “I’m always glad when you don’t because you have your own individual style and I just think you rock it.”

Back in July, Lola showed off her stunning figure while wearing a hot white bikini.

Lola Consuelos Reveals What She Really Thinks About Her Dad Mark Consuelos' Shirtless Pics on Social Media

Lola Consuelos is opening up about how she feels about her dad, Mark Consuelos, posting shirtless pics on social media.

The 19-year-old daughter of Mark and Kelly Ripa chatted with People magazine in their inaugural Family issue about the pics and revealed that she thought they were actually “disgusting”.

The topic came up while Lola was discussing things that Kelly posted on social media, that Lola would rather not see, and firing back at haters.

“That’s why the people follow me,” Kelly shared. “They want to see it…I think my haters and I have a healthy relationship with each other. I think that it’s a give-and-take. Because I think that the people that I clap back to are very clever; they’re usually very funny; I usually get a good chuckle out of it. Then, they deserve the little pepper.”

Lola also pointed out that she could do without seeing her mom’s “belfie,” or butt selfie, which she called “ridiculous” and she’s also labeled her dad’s selfies as “disgusting.”

“I blocked that out of my mind. I forgot that you even did that,” she said.

Lola made headlines last week with her own thirst trap selfie while wearing a white bikini during quarantine.

The user claimed that she and Ryan Seacrest were displaying a “lack of personal grooming” on their morning talk show amid the pandemic.

In the promo video for their upcoming season, the hosts are seen brushing their teeth and getting dressed.

“The only issue I have with this show (and I watch daily since I am at home nowadays) is the lack of personal grooming. I mean it’s a nationally televised show. And I have to get dressed for every Zoom work call so why can’t you guys,” the commenter wrote.

“We are dressed. FCC rules, not mine. I’ll bring it up at the next meeting,” Kelly sarcastically wrote back when the viewer added another comment.

Kelly Ripa Shares Sweet Memory Of Working With Josh Duhamel On 'All My Children'

Kelly Ripa reminisced about her time on All My Children, in which she starred as Hayley Vaughan, during Monday’s episode of Live! With Kelly and Ryan.

The 49-year-old host and actress recalled a really sweet memory about working with Josh Duhamel, where he would play with her son Michael when he was just a toddler.

“This morning when we were setting up and he was doing his sound check, I had to grab Michael and I said, ‘I want you to see somebody,’” Kelly shared about the virtual check in with Josh. “When we both worked at All My Children together, Josh — there’s a handful of people who were born to be parents that I’ve known in my life, Josh being one of them.”

She continued, “He was like a young kid, he was in his very early 20s when we had Michael. He would sit and play with Michael, who was a toddler, for hours, and Michael used to call him the Iron Giant.”

“Josh, compared to his parents [her and Mark Consuelos] looked like a giant,” Kelly added. “He was like, ‘Who knew that adults came in this size!’ He’s used to looking down on adults, but Josh, he was like, ‘You’re the largest person I’ve ever seen.’”

Josh was recently part of the All My Children virtual reunion and was last seen out before the pandemic hit, enjoying a meal at a Mexican restaurant.
